How NCATT Standards are Derived
NCATT works with the industry to develop standards using the educational method of an Occupational Task Analysis. This analysis brings Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) together to discuss and dissect the tasks related to the topic addressed. This Occupational Task Analysis is further enhanced by adopting and putting into use the Task & Knowledge levels used by the United States Air Force. By using these tools together, the standards are better able to articulate the requirements set forth by the industry to training providers.
